CD Projekt Group hosted its 2016 financial results conference, and provided some interesting information about its franchises. First of all, we hear about the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077. Development progress is 'quite advanced.' The developer’s biggest team is working on the game, and it’s several hundreds of people (over 300). 

The project is very ambitious, so the studio wants to devote a lot of attention and effort to the game, on top of of quite some time. We also learn that The Witcher 3 is a 'closed project,' so there won’t be further expansions or DLC for it. That said, to a question about a possible The Witcher 4 game, the response was quite interesting: The Witcher was designed as a trilogy, and a trilogy can’t have a fourth chapter.
