Everybody already knows that Windows 10 would be released in the summer of 2015, there has not been an indication of the exact release date though. Well, AMD CEO Lisa Su has spoiled Microsoft's surprise, stating a specific launch time-frame for Windows 10: the end of July.
AMD CEO Lisa Su stated this during AMD's latest earnings call. There was a question from the audience she responded to, and as such revealed the launch time-frame.
Su said that "with the Windows 10 launch at the end of July, we are watching sort of the impact of that on the back-to-school season, and expect that it might have a bit of a delay to the normal back-to-school season inventory build-up."
And yes, that makes totally sense as well. So there you have it folks, this means we are only three months away from Windows 10 with DirectX 12. Microsoft previously has mentioned that it is planning to launch Windows 10 "this summer" in 190 countries and 111 languages, but never mentioned a set date for the actual release.
