Viewsonic has announced the XG341C-2K, a new gaming monitor that is supposed to be vast and well-equipped. The Viewsonic Elite series XG341C-2K offers a resolution of 3,440 1,440 pixels at 34-inch.
The underlying VA panel is powered by a mini-LED backlight with 1,152 zones and a brightness of 720 to 1,400 cd/m2 (local peak dimming), as well as support for the VESA high-contrast standard DisplayHDR 1400. The panel also has a refresh rate of 165 Hertz, which can be boosted to 200 Hertz using the overclocking capability, a reaction time of one millisecond (MPRT), and AMD's Freesync Premium Pro for Adaptive-Sync.
With an 8-bit colour depth, the colour spaces should cover 97 percent DCI-P3, 99 percent NTSC, and 140 percent sRGB. There are two HDMI 2.1 and one display port in an unspecified version, while a USB hub with three USB-A 3.2, one USB-B 3.2 and one USB-C 3.2 (with 90 watt power) is also offered. There is also a 3.5 mm jack for audio, with two 5-watt speakers for sound output. Other features include RGB lighting on the back, height, tilt and swivel adjustability, as well as PIP (Picture in Picture) and PBP (Picture by Picture) modes.
