ViewSonic has added the VP2771 SuperClear IPS Monitor To Lineup. This 27" monitor, with IPS panel obviously, will come with a 2560×1440 (WQHD) resolution.
On its website ViewSonic is not listing the refresh-rate though, so we assume it is a 60Hz panel, at a 16:9 aspect ration. To ensure precise, uniform color, each of our monitors is factory calibrated to deliver an amazing Delta E≤2 value for superior color accuracy. An integrated color uniformity function ensures consistent chromaticity across the screen, while a 14-bit 3D look-up table generates a stunningly smooth palette of 4.39 trillion colors.
The WLED based screen is listed at a static 1000:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness with 178º horizontal, 178º vertical viewing angles. GTG response time is listed to be 5ms.
Add to that 6-axis color adjustment functionality. The screen has a built-in ambient light sensor and a KVM switch. Hardware calibration is also available with the optional ViewSonic Colorbration Kit, which allows you to quickly and easily calibrate the monitor for photography, graphic design, content creation, and other color-critical applications.
The product has powerful USB 3.1 Type C input that delivers charging power (3x USB 3.1 Type A, 1x USB 3.1 Type B, and 1x USB 3.1 Type C.), video, and audio over a single connector. In addition, it includes one HDMI/MHL 2.0, one DisplayPort, one Mini DisplayPort, and one DisplayPort Out. The monitor has a VESA mounting option (100 x 100 mm). Pricing is TBA.
