Player affinity is reporting that Valve will announce a new title at E3 2012. Judging by this statement from Gabe Newell, "Yes, we are announcing something with a three in it,", we can assume this could be Half Life 3, Portal 3, Team Fortress 3 or Left 4 Dead 3.
