Last Sunday, the official HBO channel on YouTube released a trailer featuring clips from the new thing that will be available on HBO Max. Among the highlights is The Last of Us, which features the opening sequences from the series.
We can see numerous sequences of Ellie (Bella Ramsey) and Joel (Pedro Pascal) interacting in the preview, beginning around minute 1:40. While the girl says she has lost all the people she cares about in one of them, Joel tells Ellie that he has no idea what it's like to lose someone. The video also includes a glimpse of Bill's character, performed by Nick Offerman.
The Last of Us series will be launched in 2023. Filming wrapped on June 11th.
“In September 2013, an outbreak caused by a fungus known as Cordyceps causes panic in the United States, turning human hosts into cannibalistic monsters. Joel, one of the survivors, is recruited to sneak in a girl named Ellie in 2033, twenty years after the epidemic. The Last of Us will also star Gabriel Luna (Terminator: Dark Fate) as Tommy Miller, Anna Torv (Mindhunter) as Tess, and Nico Parker (Dumbo) as Sarah Miller, in addition to Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, and Nick Offerman. Marlene is played by Merle Dandridge (Sons of Anarchy).
Craig Mazing (Chernobyl) also directs the series in partnership with the game's designer, Neil Druckmann.
