In addition to the M10S, Sony has launched the INZONE M9 II, an updated 4K HDR gaming monitor that incorporates backlight scanning technology to enhance motion clarity. The INZONE M9 II features a 27-inch 4K UHD IPS display with a 160 Hz refresh rate and a 1 ms response time, making it suitable for both immersive single-player experiences and competitive gaming. The monitor utilizes full array local dimming, a technology borrowed from Sony’s BRAVIA TV range, to improve contrast and reduce motion blur. With a peak brightness of 750 nits and DisplayHDR 600 certification, the INZONE M9 II ensures detailed and bright visuals across various lighting conditions. It also supports a wide color gamut of DCI-P3 95%, providing accurate and vibrant color reproduction. The INZONE M9 II is equipped with DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1 ports, facilitating high-bandwidth connections for next-generation consoles like the PlayStation 5. Furthermore, the monitor is NVIDIA G-SYNC compatible, enhancing synchronization between the GPU and display for a fluid gaming experience.
Both the INZONE M10S and M9 II monitors are designed with ergonomic flexibility, featuring adjustable stands that allow for height, tilt, and swivel adjustments to accommodate various gaming setups. The INZONE M10S includes a compact base with a 159 mm diameter and a flat 4 mm base to maximize desk space, supporting diverse keyboard and mouse configurations. Sony has also emphasized environmental considerations in the design of these monitors, opting for sturdy construction materials and implementing low power consumption modes to reduce their ecological footprint. The INZONE M10S is priced at $1,099 USD and the INZONE M9 II at $799 USD, with both models available starting in October.
