First off, I am wrapping up our 950 PRO review at the moment. We had a bit of a problem securing a sample. That review will be up next week. Now that said, Samsung is planning to release a more 'budget' EVO SSD, the 750 EVO model.

So the EVO model, (which will be named 750 EVO as the rumor goes right now), should be based on cheaper TLC based NAND. The transfer rates should be 540 MB/sec read and 520 MB/sec writes. As to why Samsung would name it 750 EVO ... I do have a clue .. Intel's fastest series is also dubbed 750 so there's nothing like creating a little market confision eh ?

The drive will get three  years warranty with a low 35 TB written guaranteed. But with TLC ... well it's not my favorite NAND. Anyway this is a rumor just for now though backed with the screenshots, this enws was spotted on TPU (who mentioned this as M.2. unit, while it is a SATA3 SSD) who found it at Hermitage Akihabara.
