Samsung Introduces The Premiere 9 and The Premiere 7 Ultra-Short Throw Projectors

The Premiere 9 and The Premiere 7 projectors bring cinematic visuals to your living space with cutting-edge laser technology. Both models offer 4K resolution and ultra-short throw capabilities, enabling large-screen projections up to 130 inches. The Premiere 9 features triple laser technology and is HDR10+ certified, providing enhanced color accuracy and brightness. It offers a color gamut coverage of 154% of the DCI-P3 standard, while The Premiere 7 covers 100%. The Premiere 9 delivers a maximum brightness of 3,450 ISO lumens, and The Premiere 7 provides up to 2,500 ISO lumens.

Samsung Electronics America has unveiled its latest home entertainment solutions with the introduction of The Premiere 9 and The Premiere 7 ultra-short throw projectors. These projectors are designed to deliver a high-quality home cinema experience with 4K resolution, advanced audio capabilities, and enhanced connectivity features. To optimize picture quality, both models are equipped with AI-driven enhancements, including 4K AI Upscaling and Vision Booster. These technologies ensure content is displayed in sharp 4K resolution and automatically adjust color and contrast based on ambient lighting conditions.

Audio performance is enhanced by built-in speakers with Dolby Atmos technology. The Premiere 9 includes 40 W 2.2.2 channel up-firing speakers, while The Premiere 7 is equipped with 30 W 2.2 channel speakers, offering immersive sound without the need for additional equipment.

Samsung Tizen OS for Seamless Streaming, Gaming, and Connectivity

The Premiere projectors run on Samsung's Tizen OS, providing access to a wide array of streaming services such as Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, and Samsung TV Plus. This platform allows users to easily enjoy their favorite content. Additionally, the Samsung Gaming Hub offers access to over 3,000 premium gaming titles, including those from Xbox, without requiring a console.

Custom Ambient mode allows users to personalize their space with various projection options, including custom images, downloaded content, and interactive widgets.

The projectors also enhance home connectivity through integrated smart features. Users can control smart home devices via the SmartThings hub, access music applications, and use hands-free voice commands.
