Ryzen Threadripper 4000 Codename - AMD Genesis (and Vermeer): spotted in AIDA64

While we still have to see even a sign of life for the Threadripper 3000 series, some speculation on the 4000 (ZEN3) series already has begun as the database of AIDA64 gives a hint. In AIDA64 the code names "Vermeer" and "Genesis" appeared. And the last one is a next-gen Threadripper.

Vermeer is said to stand for Ryzen 4000 and Zen 3 overall, actually that is common knowledge. Genesis, however, is new and might be a synonym to Genesis Peak in the US state of Washington, in the immediate vicinity of Castle Peak and Colfax Peak. On the thesis, it is assumed Genesis is Threadripper 4000, because Threadripper 3000 has the codename Castle Peak reserved, while Threadripper 2000 is Colfax (Peak).

This is, of course, all wild speculation. Whatever Zen 3 will bring to the table is speculation. PCI Express 5.0 and DDR5 are an option, but whether this will really happen is rather uncertain. Another speculation is that the SMT will handle four threads per core, which is an interesting thing all by itself.
