Over at the traditional gossip website resources it is claimed that Nvidia held a private meeting with selected members of the press, showcasing a new product. This product is to be rumored somthing like the Titan Z, this round obviously it would be a dual-GM200 graphics card.
And yes that would be a dual GeForce GTX 980 Ti or (hopefully) Titan X crammed onto one PCB. The rumors are very loose and inconsistent, and I have not seen any confirmed info that the meeting actually happened aside from a write-up at wccftech. It however lies within the line of expectancy that a dual-GPU based GM200 product would see light of day anytime this year, likely in the Q3 / Q4 timeframe for a release.
I however can tell you for fact that we have not (yet) been informed about such a product. The rumor is interesting though as it would mean an incredible performing product, to be very suited for Ultra HD gaming. Such a dual GM200 based product would get something like 5632 (980 Ti) or 6144 (Titan X) shader processors and then memory could be 12 or even 24 GB spread across two GPUs. It's likely the 12GB option though.
Well, at least it is a sexy rumor - fingers crossed :)
