On October 29, Red Dead Redemption and its expansion, Undead Nightmare, will become available for PC users. This release marks the first time players can experience John Marston's narrative on the PC platform, developed in collaboration with Double Eleven. The PC versions include several enhancements tailored to optimize performance and visual fidelity. Users with compatible hardware can utilize native 4K resolution at refresh rates up to 144Hz, ensuring smooth and detailed graphics. Additionally, the games support Ultrawide (21:9) and Super Ultrawide (32:9) monitor configurations, providing a broader field of view. High Dynamic Range (HDR10) support is integrated to enhance color accuracy and contrast, while full keyboard and mouse functionality offers precise control options for gameplay.

The technical improvements extend to advanced graphical technologies, including NVIDIA DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0 upscaling. These technologies enhance frame rates and image quality by intelligently increasing the resolution of lower-quality frames. NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation further contributes to smoother visuals by generating intermediate frames, reducing motion blur and input lag. Players can also adjust various settings to tailor their experience, such as draw distances and shadow quality. These adjustable parameters allow for customization based on individual hardware capabilities and performance preferences, ensuring that the game runs efficiently across a range of PC configurations.

Further details regarding the PC release, including pre-purchase options, will be made available later in the week through platforms such as the Rockstar Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. The new trailer provides a glimpse of the enhanced graphical capabilities and technical features implemented in the PC versions. By leveraging modern PC hardware and optimization techniques, Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare aim to deliver a refined and immersive experience for both new and returning players on the PC platform.
