QNAP announced a new L2 Web-managed switch called QSW-M2108R-2C, the product is intended for small businesses that supports 10 Gigabit LAN.
The L2 web managed switch has a high speed 10 Gigabit LAN port. It is equipped with a management function equipped with a Web GUI that allows intuitive operation and can simplify network management for small and medium-sized enterprises where it is difficult to assign a dedicated administrator.

The form factor is a half rack mount, and two horizontal units can be installed on a normal rack mounter. The management port is Gigabit LAN x 1, the switching capacity is 80 Gbps, the Mac address table is 16K, and the cooling fan is equipped with two PWM-controlled double ball bearing fans. The external dimensions are width 207 mm, depth 199.5 mm, height 43.3 mm, and weight 1.2 kg. Product warranty is 2 years.
QNAP is advertising this as a cost-effective switch, but then did not list the price. Early listing prices look to be roughly 439 EUR/USD though.
