Sleek designs with no visible power circuitry or power cords are a new trend in motherboard design.  MSI's Project Zero is built on the MEG Unify platform, most likely the Z690 variant with quad-DDR5 DIMM capability. 

The manufacturer took a step back and changed the motherboard headers, SATA, and power connector location. These are now positioned in the back. This also implies that various issues may develop, such as how to attach cables in such a small place. Some connectors are plainly facing opposite ways, requiring the development of specific motherboards. With the Gigabyte Stealth design, this was already the case. Although these are merely projects for the time being, it is encouraging to see a new trend that could lead to whole new standards. The design with hidden cables will be preferred by the large majority of buyers. A person named chi11eddog uploaded photographs of MSI Project Zero on Twitter.
