So if you just read the previous news item on the MSI cards then your eye browses probably frowned a little when you read the prices. I performed some check on actual price listing in the EU through a comparison database, to see what the GeForce RTX 2080 and 2080 Ti are listing for.
So basically the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti here in the EU will start at 1204 EUR. This is the cheapest version I could find and that would be an Inno3D card. The most expensive listing is 1349 EUR for the KFA² GeForce RTX 2080 Ti OC. These cards (AIB) should start at 999 USD according to NVIDIA.
The GeForce RTX 2080 is listing at a starting price of 830 EUR, both MSI (Duke) and Gigabyte (WindForce OC) are at that price. The most expensive version listing right now is the ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 2080 OC which would cost roughly 950 EUR. These cards (AIB) should start at 699 according to NVIDIA.
The VAT rates in the EU differ per country though, so there will be fluctuation. All prices are based on pre-orders, but since there is a heap of them listed the prices do seem to have settled at what you can expect to be a normal sale price. Meanwhile, the founders editions cards from NVIDIA themselves are selling like hot cake, the 1259 EUR GeForce RTX 2080 Ti has sold-out for pre-order. The 849 EUR RTX 2080 can still be ordered though, NVIDIA is listing the shipment date to be September 20th.
