And that would be the non-Ti model. The Ampere card series will be based on 12GB and get 3584 shader cores, much like the leaks have indicated. So that also means a 6GB version is inbound at a certain point in time.
NVIDIA is positioning multiple 3060 SKUs into the market, positioning itself before the 3060 Ti and 3070. The regular 3060 as announced today, likely uses a GA106 Ampere graphics processor and features 3584 shader cores. The number of GPU cores is about 26 percent lower than with the RTX 3060 Ti, which has a GA104 chip with 4864 CUDA cores.
NVIDIA will launch with the 12GB model, which's 2GB more than the RTX 3080 (!). And later on, they'll likely silently slip in a 6 GB version. This card could launch in late January or February. The offers has 13 'shader teraflops' and 25 'RT-ops', the latter giving an indication of the ray-tracing performance. The manufacturer does not mention the amount of RTX cores or Tensor cores for the RTX 3060. The GeForce RTX 3060 will also support Resizable BAR, along with the rest of the GeForce RTX 30 Series on compatible motherboards. This advanced feature of PCI Express enables the CPU to access the GPU frame buffer, improving performance in many games.

The MSRP for GeForce RTX 3060 with 12 GB graphics memory is set at 329 USD. There will also be five new G-Sync monitors that have a built-in latency sensor. With that sensor, you should be able to easily measure the latency from the mouse to the pixel response time. The three monitors are from Acer, AOC, and Asus.
Update: NVIDIA today started listing the reference specification on the NVIDIA product page.
