Twitter source @momomo us has hinted that an AMD Ryzen 7700 model that does not have a "X" will be coming soon. The processor would have 8 cores, like the 7700X, but it would have a TDP of only 65 watts.
65W would be quite a bit less but likely is just what AMD's products need. The 7700X, which has a TDP of 105 watts. So far, the Ryzen 7000 series has been using a lot of power. The 7900X and 7950X even use up to 170 watts.Ryzen 5600X and 5700X, on the other hand, had a TDP of 65 watts, while the high-end 5900X and 5950X models went up to 105 watts.
We still do not know how much the performance of the rumoured Ryzen 7700 will be different from that of the 7700X.
