MSI has introduced its Ventus Essential (E) series for the RTX 40 range. Historically, Ventus models have been priced in line with GPU vendor guidelines and have established a notable position within MSI's offerings due to their specifications and cooling efficiency comparable to the GAMING models.
With this introduction, MSI has added a third variant to the Ventus series, identified as "E" or "Essential." The "Essential" models maintain the original design and specifications, but potential structural improvements might be present.
The term "essential" in this series does not indicate a compromise in quality. The updated lineup now incorporates six new cards as videocardz reports:
- MSI RTX 4070 12GB VENTUS 2X E
- MSI RTX 4070 12GB VENTUS 2X E OC
- MSI RTX 4070 Ti 12GB VENTUS 3X E1
- MSI RTX 4070 Ti 12GB VENTUS 3X E1 OC
- MSI RTX 4090 24GB VENTUS 3X E
- MSI RTX 4090 24GB VENTUS 3X E OC
While the card specifications remain largely consistent, there have been slight modifications in the card's weight. Dimensions have stayed the same. A notable change is observed in the RTX 4090 Ventus 3X E models' display output configuration. The earlier configuration of 3xDP + 1x HDMI has been modified to two HDMI ports and two DP ports.
