Based on MSI's typical naming conventions, the "2X" models are expected to feature a dual-fan cooling system, while the "3X" models are anticipated to have a triple-fan design. These "E1" models likely correspond to Nvidia's recently announced RTX 4070 with GDDR6 memory, which was released on August 20. The primary difference in this version of the RTX 4070 is the use of 20Gbps GDDR6 memory instead of the 21Gbps GDDR6X memory found in other models.

MSI has registered four RTX 4070 VENTUS 12GB graphics cards with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) on August 22. The registered models include:

  • GeForce RTX 4070 VENTUS 2X E1 12G OC
  • GeForce RTX 4070 VENTUS 2X E1 12G
  • GeForce RTX 4070 VENTUS 3X E1 12G OC
  • GeForce RTX 4070 VENTUS 3X E1 12G

Additionally, MSI has registered the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER 16G GAMING SLIM STALKER 2 EDITION, indicating a collaboration with the game "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl." Other co-branded products, including the RTX 4070 SUPER models associated with "Black Myth: Wukong" and "World of Warcraft," are also part of the GAMING SLIM series and have been registered.
