MSI introduced the MEG X870E GODLIKE motherboard, designed to support AMD Ryzen 9000 series processors. This motherboard stands out for its 28-phase power delivery system, aimed at ensuring stable and efficient performance for high-end computing tasks. The MEG X870E GODLIKE is built on an E-ATX form factor, measuring 288x304.8mm. It continues the trend of its predecessors in the GODLIKE series, such as the X670E chipset-based models, maintaining a similar robust design.

The MSI MEG X870E GODLIKE motherboard is designed with extensive features and dimensions similar to its predecessor based on the X670E chipset, measuring approximately 288x304.8mm and adopting the E-ATX form factor. It supports the AM5 socket, compatible with AMD's Ryzen 9000, 8000, and 7000 CPUs. The robust power delivery system of the board suggests compatibility with future Ryzen processors. The motherboard is equipped with the latest AGESA BIOS, optimized for the Zen 5 core architecture.  The MSI MEG X870E GODLIKE motherboard features an enhanced power delivery system with 28 power phases and 110A power stages, an improvement from the previous X670E GODLIKE's 105A stages. It includes two 8-pin connectors for CPU power and a standard 24-pin ATX connector for the motherboard. This board supports up to 256 GB of DDR5 memory across four slots, with speeds over 8000 MT/s, using the latest 64 GB modules. It also has debugging LEDs, and power and reset switches for easy system management.

It also has four SATA III ports and two USB3 front panel headers. For connectivity, the I/O section has eight USB Type-C ports—seven on the back and one on the front that supports 60W Power Delivery via an additional 8-pin connector. The rear ports offer varying speeds up to 40Gbps, and the board features advanced networking options, including dual ports and WiFi 7, along with additional USB ports enabled by stacked PCB layers.

Additionally, the motherboard includes another 8-pin connector near the dual X870E PCHs to supply extra power for advanced uses like multi-GPU setups with NVIDIA's upcoming RTX 50 "Blackwell" GPUs.
