Another day another leak, this round the product photos including boxes of the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti SUPRIM X and Ventus 3X from MSI have found their way to the web. and it's is 100% confirmed, that's 8GB VRAM, yet GDDR6X.

The resemblance of the cards is close to the regular 3070 cards, we find that the card looks closer to the RTX 3070 SUPRIM X. Likely MSI is reusing the PCB and cooler. if that is the case then this product is GA104 based, not GA102. A fully enabled GA104 holds 6144 shader cores 192 tensor cores, 48 RT cores, 192 TMUs, and 96 ROPs. Based on that 8GB it would run a 256-bit wide memory bus. The positive note is that the card would be VRAM bandwidth deprived, and fast GDDR6X memory definitely is gonna help in that respect.
