MINISFORUM recently unveiled the NAB6 Lite, a compact mini PC that retains the design and features of its predecessor, the NAB6, but with several enhancements tailored for high-performance computing needs. This new model is equipped with an Intel Core i5-12500H processor, which includes 12 cores and 16 threads, an 18 MB cache, and a turbo frequency that can reach up to 4.50 GHz. The thermal design power (TDP) of the processor is set at 45 W, and it is integrated with Iris Xe graphics, providing robust performance for office applications and multimedia entertainment. The NAB6 Lite's chassis has a volume of just 0.9 liters, making it significantly smaller than traditional PCs—approximately 1/40th the size. The device features a user-friendly design with a cover plate that can be easily opened by pressing, simplifying the process of upgrading memory or SSDs. This model introduces an active cooling design for the SSD and enhanced side ventilation to improve heat dissipation for both memory and storage components.
