Chinese graphics card manufacturer MaxSun has introduced the GeForce RTX 4090 MGG within its Mega Gamer product line. The video card showcases a triple-slot configuration and integrates a total of five fans.
This cooling setup comprises three sizable 10cm or 11cm fans strategically positioned over the GPU's vapor chamber, supplemented by two smaller "Air Boost" fans located on the upper side. The smaller fans play a pivotal role in expelling air from the video card, thereby enhancing heat dissipation efficiency.
Earlier in its product lineup, MaxSun unveiled the RTX 4070 Ti and 4080 graphics cards, each exhibiting analogous design principles. Upon meticulous examination, the cooling mechanism of the RTX 4090 MGG closely resembles that of the RTX 4080. Both models employ a cooling solution featuring a substantial 7000 mm² heat dissipation surface area, encompassing an effective vapor chamber.
A notable feature of the RTX 4090 MGG's design is its detachable USB-powered LED screen. This innovative screen empowers users to display customized text or graphics, delivering a touch of personalization. In terms of performance, the RTX 4090 MGG is characterized as a factory-overclocked variant, boasting a boost clock of 2580 MHz. This represents a 2.4% increase over its base specifications. The graphics card carries an official Thermal Design Power (TDP) rating of 450W, with no reported modifications to its power limits.
Traditionally tailored for the Chinese domestic market, MaxSun graphics cards occasionally make appearances on international e-commerce platforms like Aliexpress. Presently, there is no indication of the availability of RTX 40 series models beyond China's borders, and MaxSun has not disclosed the suggested retail price for the RTX 4090 MGG.
