LG Display has officially begun mass production of a 27-inch 480Hz QHD gaming OLED panel, catering to the increasing demand for high-performance gaming displays. This panel, which sets a new standard in OLED technology, features an unprecedented 480Hz refresh rate and an improved GtG (Gray-to-Gray) response time, now reduced from 0.03ms to 0.02ms. This advancement is particularly advantageous for fast-paced gaming genres such as first-person shooters (FPS) and racing games.
The panel incorporates LG Display's META Technology, designed to enhance light emission from the OLED material. This technology not only improves overall picture quality but also reduces the mirror reflection of surrounding objects on the screen. Additionally, the optimized WRGB pixel structure enhances text readability during gaming and document editing.
