LG Electronics has launched the LG MyView Smart Monitor (model 34SR60QC), a 34-inch display featuring a curved, 21:9 aspect ratio UltraWide screen. The monitor is equipped with a WQHD (3440 x 1440) resolution VA panel that delivers 300 nits of brightness and a wide viewing angle. It covers 99 percent of the sRGB color gamut, making it suitable for tasks requiring accurate color representation. The 21:9 aspect ratio provides additional screen space, allowing users to keep multiple tabs and windows open simultaneously. For improved work efficiency, the 34SR60QC includes screen-organization features such as the built-in Screen Split function.

This feature enables users to arrange applications optimally across the elongated display. Additionally, the monitor supports various home-office applications, allowing access to email, online document editors, and cloud storage directly on the monitor without connecting to a PC or laptop. The extra width of the monitor facilitates the operation of productivity applications in full-screen (16:9) mode while leaving space for additional tools. Users can pin generative AI tools or other applications to the right-hand side of the display in a smaller (5:9) window, maximizing the utility of the screen real estate. In terms of entertainment, the 34SR60QC is designed to provide a movie theater-like experience at home.
