Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was released last Friday and has been troubled by technical difficulties on some PCs. According to its creator, Beenox, this is due to the utilisation of NVIDIA GPUs with the most recent drivers from the firm installed.
NVIDIA now as mentioned on Twitter that the 526.47 drivers were creating game instability. "For the time being, we recommend staying with the 516.59 or 522.25 drivers,". NVIDIA stated that it is aware of the problem and is working on a solution. While NVIDIA recommends using older drivers for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, they can create issues in other games as well. After crashes, gamers who acquired the game through Steam may have to wait through a lengthy file verification process. Despite this, the game had the best debut of any game in the series on Valve's shop.
NVIDIA has not yet provided an estimated release date for its patched drivers, but has stated that the most troublesome ones are identified with the code 526.47. Instructions on how to revert to prior drivers are offered on the company's official website if you have the newest update on your PC.
