Intel's Z890 motherboards, designed to support the upcoming Core Ultra 200 "Arrow Lake-S" desktop processors, will be available for preview starting October 10, with performance data set to be released on October 24, these motherboards will debut alongside Intel's release of the Arrow Lake-S processors, marking October 24 as the official sales date for the new CPU and motherboard platform.

The initial release of Intel Arrow Lake-S processors will feature five unlocked SKUs, including the Ultra 9 285K, Ultra 7 265K (F), and Ultra 5 245K (F). Notably, the high-end Ultra 9 series will not include a variant without integrated graphics, a departure from previous generations of Intel desktop CPUs. Z890 motherboards will ship with factory BIOS settings based on the Intel Default Profile, ensuring stability across configurations. However, manufacturers will also offer additional profiles, such as the Extreme Profile, for users seeking enhanced performance tuning options.
