Steam's monthly hardware and software survey shows that just over 80 percent of its users belong to the blue camp. The numbers based on PC Windows users show that 82.63 percent have an Intel processor and 17.34 percent have an AMD proc. In terms of processor speeds the most popular category for Windows, with both Intel and AMD products, was "3.3 GHz to 3.69 GHz", which is the second-fastest CPU speed category the chart offers (“3.7 GHz and above” is the fastest).
