HWBOT is now actively listing three new models Threadripper processors, they are named Threadripper 2990X, 2970X and 2950X. If we can believe the specs, there will be a 16, 24 and 32 core version each with a different TDP. 125, 180 and 250 Watts respectively.
There are some questions the ryze (yes that pun is intended to read like that) .. the 16-core listing would run 300 MHz lower than current gen 16-core (which seems weird). The new XFR2 frequencies are not listed though.
It should be no secret that the Threadripper 2990X with 32 cores and 64 threads would be a 250W TDP processor. Threadripper 2970X would be a 24 core version, at the current 180W. Though pricing has not yet been revealed, a Canadian etailer mentioned the 32-core/64-thread part at roughly 1800 USD.
