Evan Blass on the venture beat website reports about the upcoming curved Huawei Mate 9 Pro. The specs look amazing, the price would be 1300 dollar. Developed under code-name Long Island the Mate 9 Pro will be a 5.9-inch handset.
The smart phone will be powered by HiSilicon Kirin 960 systems-on-chip, and supported by 4GB of RAM, with storage capacities ranging from 64GB to 256GB. Whereas Mate 9 features 1080p full-HD resolution, the Mate 9 Pro steps up to 1440 x 2560 QHD. Processor wise the phone would get 16nm Kirin 960 SoCs that have four Cortex-A73-cores running at 2.4 GHz.
Snap (no pun intended): Mate 9/Pro feature 4x optical zoom. But pricing on a spec'ed out Pro is enough to give you a heart attack: $1300.
Someone familiar with company plans said that only the Pro will offer the new Android 7.0 Nougat feature. The Mate 9 pairing will also feature the same dual-sensor, dual-lens camera as the company’s first-half flagship, the P9, though its specs have allegedly been improved. The smart-phone would get a 4x optical zoom. Memory wise there's 4 GB with 64 towards 256GB of storage. The price is said to be 1300 USD , well let's make that 1299 to make it sound better.
