On the Windows Experience Blog and in an HP news release, you can find comprehensive coverage of the full range of devices on offer. There is at least one new HP product that appears to deserve more consideration from those who appreciate the sleekness of new PC technology, and I believe that device is the new HP Envy 34-inch All-in-One Desktop.

Similar to some of the other recent gadgets that have been introduced, HP is positioning its current range as a fantastic asset for hybrid workers. This blend of laptops, tablet/convertibles, and AIO desktops is said to be intended for "those who desire technology that enables them to easily move between productivity, creativity, enjoyment, and collaboration - regardless of where they happen to be". Even the large-ish monitors it has introduced come into this category because they make excellent second screens for connecting in your laptop or convertible, for instance.

For me, the AiO 34-inch monitor is the high point of the new equipment lineup. Featuring a 34-inch diagonal 5k 21:9 aspect ratio display (WUHD) with micro-edge bezels, this system is designed for gaming and entertainment. We don't have access to the complete set of technical specifications for this display, but it's encouraging to hear that it provides "true color accuracy with factory color calibration and 98 percent DCI-P3 coverage." If you require further evidence of the usefulness value of this display, it is claimed to be an excellent screen for use with Microsoft's Snap Layouts feature in Windows 11.

This picture shows how the HP magnetic mounted webcam (5MP pixel binned 16MP, 2m pixel sensor) is configured at various positions and angles across the frame, demonstrating how it is extremely versatile and easy to use. However, the graphic below provides a greater illustration of its practical and adaptable application.

According to the specs, it should be capable of running for several years as an AiO. - HP offers purchasing spec options up to and including an 11th generation Intel Core i9 S-series processor (octacore), as well as strong discrete graphics options up to and including an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080. (Laptop). As a result, it is the first AiO to be equipped with an RTX 3080. However, it is possible that the shipping product will be even more enticing in the GPU stakes, as HP appeared to sneak out that the Envy 34 AiO could be configured with a "GeForce RTX 3080 Super" graphics card. Since this specification was listed and recorded by the VideoCardz team, it appears that the product pages have been modified.

Other features of the HP Envy 34 AiO desktop include an embedded power supply design to improve the 'AiO-ness' of the product, an advanced thermal solution to keep those high-performance components cool, wireless charging pads built into the stand, and a "packed with ports" design on the rear side of the display and the side of the stand, which includes Thunderbolt 4 support.

A starting price of US$1,999 is scheduled to be charged for the HP Envy 34 inch All-in-One Desktop PC, which will be available for purchase starting in October on HP.com.
