Interesting, as the US Dollar strengthens itself, the prices of some product in the EU start to rise. High-End Intel CPUs for example are seeing a strong increase in pricing. The Core i7-4790K has risen from 280 EUR to 300 EUR.
The i5-4690K's price increased from 190 EUR to 210 EUR and the Xeon E3-1231 v3 went from 195EUR to 220EUR.
Interestingly enough prices on video cards, motherboards, power supplies and AMD processors remain steady. Intel's lower-end SKUs like the Core i3, Pentium, Celeron and Atom processors are hardly affected by the strong dollar. Intel might keep the pricing of the lower-end models stable in these price-sensitive line-ups.
