Google announced the latest model of mesh router "Nest Wifi Pro" that supports Wi-Fi 6E. Nest Wifi Pro will be available in the US market on October 27, with prices starting at $199.99 per unit. The mesh router supports Wi-Fi 6E, enabling high-speed communication of up to 5.4Gbps. It has a dual-core ARM processor, 1GB memory and 4GB flash.

Upgrade to tri-band Wi-Fi 6E from the previous model (802.11ax). It offers 6GHz band communication in addition to 2.4GHz and 5GHz, providing high-speed communication of up to 5.4Gbps, which is roughly double that of Wi-Fi 6. It can also assess real-time communication performance to avoid congestion and favour high-bandwidth services like video calling and streaming.
In a mesh setup, 100 units can be connected per router, and up to 300 units can be connected simultaneously. The communication range is up to 2,200 square feet (204 square metres), and three units cover a total area of 6,600 square feet (approximately 613 square meters). It supports Matter, a smart home protocol, in addition to having a built-in Thread border router capability for IoT devices.
The device contains a dual-core ARM processor, 1GB of memory, and 4GB of flash storage. External dimensions are 117mm wide, 85mm deep, and 130mm high, with a weight of 450g. It is tinted in four different shades of Snow / Fog / Linen / Lemongrass.
