It's a funny find really, but as the titles states Google might have snuck in the upcoming Pixel 3 smartphone hidden as Easter Christmass egg in that Home Alone commercial. In the commercial, Macauley Culkin plays his role as Kevin McCallister, left alone at home when his parents leave on vacation.

He makes use of the functions of Google Assistant in the advertising video to arrange various matters. Now here's where it gets interesting, IGN has obtained the very same video, but when you take note of it, the scene where he asks the Google Assistant to order 'after shave'  shown was slightly different.

The smartphone used was swapped out for another model. As you can see it has no upper border and a very thin bezel. It is now suggested that Google has been embedding the prototype of the Pixel 3 XL in the video.

Then again, it might be a pun from Googles side as well of course. Have a peek and remember these are not stills but grabs from the videos.
