Gigabyte's Computex 2022 presence will focus on "Power of Computing," the company said. The business will display unannounced AMD X670 motherboards.
X670 is the next-generation AM5 chip. The new boards have Zen4/Raphael-based Ryzen 7000 CPUs. AMD has verified an LGA1718 socket and DDR5 and PCIe Gen5 memory for the X670 series. Gigabyte listed the X670 AORUS Xtreme, X670 AORUS Master, X670 AORUS Pro AX, and X670 AERO motherboards in a note.
We will be showcasing the latest AMD Socket AM5 motherboards, including the X670 AORUS XTREME, MASTER, PRO AX and X670 AERO D designer motherboards for gaming. Users will get a glimpse of the advanced design and extensive features of the PCIe 5.0 graphics slot and M.2 Gen5 interface on GIGABYTE motherboards, the company says.
For the time being, we just know that it will feature the X670 and nothing about the rumored X670E. According to the press release, the top-of-the-line X670 AORUS Xtreme motherboard will feature a normal X670 chipset. Furthermore, Gigabyte says that their motherboards will include a preview of PCIe 5.0 graphics ports and an M.2 Gen5 interface. This obviously relates to the X670 chipset's capabilities.
