Intel Core Ultra Series 2 "Arrow Lake-S" Desktop Processors Available Now

Intel has officially introduced its Core Ultra Series 2 Arrow Lake-S desktop processors, which use the new LGA1851 socket. These processors are compatible with motherboards based on Intel's Z890 chipset from various partners. The release includes several models aimed at gaming PCs and overclocking enthusiasts. All models are unlocked, allowing users to adjust clock speeds for better performance.

The product lineup starts with the Core Ultra 9 285K, featuring eight performance cores and sixteen efficiency cores, along with a 36 MB L3 cache, priced at $590 USD. Next is the Core Ultra 7 265K, which has eight performance cores, twelve efficiency cores, and a 30 MB L3 cache, priced at $390 USD. The Core Ultra 5 245K offers six performance cores, eight efficiency cores, and a 24 MB L3 cache, available for $310 USD. Additionally, Intel offers the 265KF and 245KF models without integrated graphics processing units, each priced $15 lower than the 265K and 245K models, respectively.

These processors are designed to meet the needs of different segments within the desktop computing market, particularly those requiring high performance for gaming and demanding computing tasks. The unlocked processors support overclocking, which can enhance performance for users with the appropriate hardware and cooling systems.
