As reported by BoardChannels, the 'public variants' of the Radeon RX 7900 series may be the only ones available at launch on December 13th. All major board partners will provide a reference design based on the MBA (Made by AMD) specification.
It is speculated that bespoke models will become available after a delay of 1–2 weeks, but no explanation is given. In addition to only two manufacturers having shown off their cards up to this point, no board partner has even disclosed the entire specifications of their cards as of this writing (ASUS and PowerColor).
The first AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX and RX 7900 XT RDNA3 graphics cards will be available to the public on December 13, 2022. At this time, you can get your hands on an RX 7900 XTX for $999 and an RX 7900 XT for $899. However, the only graphics cards available will be AMD's reference-design MBA models distributed by the company's AIB partners. According to a Board Channels report, the non-reference (custom design) RX 7900 series releases to the market 1 to 2 weeks after December 13 that.
Update: A number of the board partners ought to have cards prepared for launch. An inquiry related only to unique designs, not MBA cards with a different logo. So, there is a good chance that we will at least be able to preorder these cards, even if they are a little late or do not get to stores in enough numbers.
