Micro Center has posted the pricing for the new Intel Core i7-12700K and Core i9-12900K processors on its website, almost two weeks before the official sale begins, and that should be MSRP.

Both chips are significantly more expensive than their 11-series equivalents and significantly more expensive than the MSRP for both parts. The Core i7-11700K starts at US$399, while the new Core i7-12700K is expected to sell at US$469.99, which appears to be an expensive price for the higher-performance cores.

The Core i9-11900K started at $539, while the Core i9-12900K lifts the price to $669.99, which is a significant increase. Micro Center is one of the most affordable sites in the United States to purchase CPUs.
