The Intel Core i5-12600K CPU is to replace the previous Core i5-11600K, and now has received some fresh CPU-Z validation tests, which were published today.

The Core i5-12600K CPU is a ten-core design with 16 threads that includes six high-performance Golden Cove cores and four energy-efficient Gracemont cores. Furthermore, when compared to the 6C/12T i5-12600K CPU, the performance is significantly higher.

Two CPU-Z benchmarks revealed that the new Alder Lake processor achieved 7220 and 7156 points, respectively, for a multi-threaded benchmark in the two tests. When compared to the previous-generation model, which received 4731 points, the new chip is about 50 percent faster than the old one. The new processor was operating at a boost frequency of 4.5 to 4.7 GHz.
