Biostar is now offering re-branded SSDs, a line of SATA 6.0 Gbps SSDs, the S100. Available in two different storage capacities: 120GB and 240GB, these ultra-slim 2.5-inch SSDs (6.9mm thick) are equipped with a unibody screwless metallic case for anti-vibration, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface.
Adopting the high-quality six-layer PCB design, the BIOSTAR S100 SSDs promise to deliver read and write speeds of up to 530MB/s and 380MB/s (120GB model) and 530MB/s and 410MB/s (240GB model), respectively. They share incredibly little info on the SSD TBW and NAND otherwise.
