BenQ today announced the ZOWIE XL2740 monitor. The XL2740 is a 27” PC eSports Full HD (1080p)  monitor with native 240hz refresh rate providing gamers with another option to suit their personal preference.

The fast TN screen is only 1080p though. it comes with a 400:1 contrast ratio. It has the same features as the smaller 24.5” XL2540. In order to experience the benefits in-game, users should make sure their computer is able to consistently generate over 240 frames per second (fps).
