ASUS RT-BE86U Dual-Band Wi-Fi 7 Router with 10 Gigabit Ports

ASUS introduced the RT-BE86U dual-band Wi-Fi 7 router on August 26, 2024. This router supports data transmission speeds of up to 5,764 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and up to 1,032 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. The RT-BE86U is equipped with several high-speed wired ports, including one 10 Gigabit WAN/LAN port, one 2.5 Gigabit WAN/LAN port, and three 2.5 Gigabit LAN ports. One of these 2.5 Gigabit LAN ports is designated as a gaming port to reduce latency during gaming sessions.

The router features three external antennas and one internal antenna, powered by a 2.6 GHz quad-core CPU with 256MB of flash memory and 1GB of RAM. It supports bandwidths of 20/40/80/160MHz and integrates ASUS's proprietary AiMesh mesh networking function.  4G / 5G Mobile Tethering; Stay connected anytime with convenient USB 4G LTE and 5G mobile tethering, even during internet outages or on the go. You plugin your smartphone to USB and make a connection. 

The physical dimensions of the RT-BE86U are 235mm in width, 90mm in depth, and 316mm in height, with a weight of 854g. Additionally, the router includes USB ports for file servers and 5G/4G LTE tethering, featuring one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A and one USB 2.0 Type-A port.
