The website maximu tech on it's end however found some more information on the Maximux V GENE mode:

To begin with, it has an LGA1155 socket with what it seems to be an 8+3 phase Extreme Engine DIGI+ II power design, which takes power from an 8-pin connector. Next to the socket are the four DDR3 DIMM slots which support up to 32 GB of DDR3 (2600 MHz +) memory in dual channel mode. For expansion slots, we have two PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots and one PCI-Express 2.0 x4 slot. It comes with a little expansion card called MPCIE Combo, this provides an extra mini-PCIe x1 slot for expansion without using those precious full PCIe slots. It supports both NVIDIA SLi and AMD Crossfire.

For storage connectivity options, we have four SATA III 6Gbps ports and two SATA II 3Gbps ports. In terms of on-board USB options, Maximus V GENE comes with two USB 3.0 and four USB 2.0 ports for front panel. Back panel I/O has a clear-CMOS switch, mPCIe combo card, ROG connect button, four USB 2.0 ports (one for ROG connect), one SATA II 3Gbps eSATA port, four USB 3.0, one S/PDIF optical out, Intel Gigabit ethernet and 7.1 channel HD audio backed by dedicated SupremeFX III circuitry. It comes with a software called ROG Gamefirst, which prioritizes your network traffic for seamless online gaming experience. It comes with an HDMI and a DisplayPort for display connectivity.
