Available in Classic Black and Snowy White, the GT502 Horizon offers color-matched modular cables to maintain a consistent aesthetic. The dual-chamber design provides ample space for efficient cooling and cable management, with room for up to 13 fans. The rear chamber offers a 90 mm space for cable routing, housing the power supply and a versatile bracket that can accommodate up to three storage drives or a 360 mm radiator.
Enhanced Lighting Solutions
For users aiming to accentuate their build with RGB lighting, ASUS provides compatible accessories tailored for the GT502 Horizon. The TUF Gaming ARGB Lighting Kit offers ambient lighting strips that attach magnetically across the tempered glass panels. Fully compatible with Aura Sync, the kit allows for coordinated lighting effects with other Aura-enabled components.
Additionally, the TUF Gaming ARGB PWM Fan Hub enables connection of up to six case fans with PWM and ARGB control. This hub facilitates dynamic cooling adjustments in response to system temperatures while synchronizing lighting effects. It features power indicators for connection verification, a protective wiring cover, safety fuses for overcurrent and short-circuit protection, and dual SATA inputs for ample power supply. Installation is simplified with embedded magnets.
The TUF Gaming TR120 ARGB fans are also becoming available, featuring a thicker 28 mm frame to enhance airflow and static pressure while maintaining noise levels up to 29 dB(A). An 8+8 double-layer LED array provides even lighting, and translucent panels extend illumination to the frame's exterior.
Optimized Cooling with Dual-Chamber Design
The main chamber of the GT502 Horizon is optimized for efficient cooling. Supporting up to 13 fans, users can direct airflow precisely where needed. The bottom panel features broad vents for air intake, and the top vent supports radiators up to 360 mm. This setup accommodates all-in-one (AIO) liquid coolers for the CPU, graphics card, or both, and supports custom cooling loops for advanced configurations.
By isolating the power supply and storage in the rear chamber, the design enhances thermal management by separating primary heat-producing components from other hardware. This arrangement allows for effective cooling solutions, even with high-performance components and overclocked systems.
Compatible with ATX motherboards and power supplies, the GT502 Horizon offers flexibility in component selection. Tool-free side panels provide easy access during assembly. The 90 mm space in the right chamber simplifies cable management, with built-in cable clips and outlets on the fan bracket aiding in organizing cables for storage drives, fans, or radiators. The spacious interior accommodates graphics cards up to 400 mm in length. An included vertical mounting bracket allows users to install the graphics card horizontally or vertically. For vertical installations, a riser cable (purchased separately) can be used. A graphics card holder with a three-section adjustment structure is provided to prevent sagging, supporting both horizontal and vertical orientations.
Designed with customization in mind, the GT502 Horizon features over 19 detachable parts. This modularity enables users to personalize various sections of the case according to their preferences, facilitating modifications and aesthetic adjustments.
Front Panel Connectivity and Maintenance
The front panel offers a variety of ports for easy connection of peripherals, including a high-speed USB-C port. To utilize the USB 10 Gbps Type-C port, installation of a compatible motherboard with the appropriate header is required.
Maintenance is simplified with removable dust filters on the top, bottom, and right-hand vents. These filters help prevent dust accumulation on internal components and are easy to remove and clean as needed, contributing to the longevity and performance of the system.
