A while ago ASUS introduced the Cerberus series graphics cards. These puppies have small tweaks, mostly found in its design. The first models that have been spotted with the new look were the 1070 Ti. You can now add to that the GeForce GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti.

The new Cerberus line is extensively tested before its batches exit the plant. These 1050'ies seem to have been paired onto a 17cm (mini ITX) form factor PCB and has a simpy three phases for GPU and one for memory. The cooler, however, extends that length.  That cooler comes fitted with two IP5X-certified (dust resistant) 80 mm fans.

  • 1455 MHz Boost Clock in OC mode for outstanding performance and gaming experience.
  • A strong backplate reinforces the circuit board and is a striking outward mark of Cerberus’s role as a powerful guardian.
  • Dual fan design provides 2X greater air flow.
  • IP5X-Certified Fans are dust resistant for longer fan lifespan.
  • Easy plug and play gaming with no extra power supply needed.
  • Industry Only Auto-Extreme Technology with Super Alloy Power II delivers premium quality and superior reliability.
  • Boost performance with GPU Tweak II, banish lag with wtfast, and stream in real time via with XSplit Gamecaster.

These cards get a mild factory tweak, the Ti, for example, runs 1341/1455 MHz (Base/Boost) with the 4GB memory running a reference 7.00 GHz (GDDR5-effective). The GTX 1050 (2GB) clocks in at 1404/1518 MHz (Base/Boost). You monitor connectors are a variety of dual-link (x1) DVI-D, HDMI 2.0b, and DisplayPort 1.4 connectors. It also has a spectacular backplate:

The Cerberus 1050 is listed at 149 EURO, the 1050 Ti shows prices in the 189 Euro range. There is are advanced and OC edition SKUs available.
