ASRock's recent announcement solidifies the compatibility of their 600/700 series motherboards with the upcoming Raptor Lake Refresh CPU series. These upcoming CPUs are projected to exhibit improved performance, boasting estimated single-core enhancements between 4% and 8%, as well as multi-core performance improvements ranging from 8% to 15% when compared to their predecessors. Notably, the new processors will feature native support for DDR5-6400 JEDEC memory—a noteworthy progression from the previous DDR5-4800 JEDEC and DDR5-5600.
