AOC announced their new 25" Q2577PWQ monitor. It is IPS based and comes with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440, look at the lovely with a thin bezel design.

The screen is aimed at photography, graphics design, movie production, CAD/CAM engineering, medical, and security applications according to the press release. The panel offers a 5ms G2G response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, sRGB gamut and 16.7m colour depth. 

The screen is also advertised as flicker free and has 2x 3W stereo speakers built in. The stand offers tilt, height, swivel and rotate functions. There are D-sub, DVI, HDMI (with MHL) and DP inputs offered for versatile connectivity. 

The AOC Q2577PWQ will be available in June 2015 at a suggested retail price of £329 GBP.
