Confined at home?, hey now might be a good time to build a kickass new Ryzen 3000 based (game) PC. As it seems prices are not ryzing, but dropping (pardon the word pun). A few days ago I already noticed that the Ryzen 9 3900X dropped from 539 EUR towards 450 EUR, but that advanced even more.

I did not make much of it but a few days ago, but there was something going on alright as prices on a global scale seem to drop for the entire range except the 16-core Ryzen 9 3950X. As it seems (we assume) AMD is running a promotion in collaboration with webshops and etailers, in addition to the price reduction, AMD also gives buyers a code for three months of Xbox Game Pass on PC (nothing new there but still).

The lower segment incl 3600, 3600X and 3700X seems to have dropped by roughly 25 EUR/USD. Ryzen Ryzen 7 3800X seems roughly a 40 EUR/USD cheaper.  The biggest price drop is the Ryzen 9 3900X (review here) now available at roughly 429 EUR / 419 USD. That's just ~36 bucks per core folks, a steal almost. We're seeing the price cut effect both in the EU and USA, from what we have learned these discount prices will remain until the end of this month.
