AMD today launched another Kaveri APU, the A8-7670K APU has the usual 4 CPU cores and Six Radeon cores. The chip is clocked at 3.6 GHz with a turbo allowance to 3.9 GHz making it a fraction faster opposed to the 7650K.
AMD has cut back the chip’s Radeon graphics by two GPU cores totalling to six, the GPU frequency drop from A10 866MHz to 757MHz. The upside of these changes is the price; the A8 is only $118, while the A10 retails at $140. The A8-7670K should be available at $117.99.
