AMD and San Francisco Giants organized an event in AT&T park last week where AMD showed off some new technology to the press and fans. The most exciting thing that was shown off at the event is an 11.6-inch Windows 8 based tablet made by AMD. They showed a mock-up of this 10mm thick tablet which will be launched later this year. There is no information that whether it’ll be based on Windows RT or Windows 8 Pro and obviously no information about specifications or pricing of the tablet was revealed at the event.
